Coastal Highway

Desert Terrain

High-altitude tarmac and gravel through KKH and Babusar. Seasonal window: June to September. Surface shifts from sealed road to broken grade above 4,000 m.

700 km of Makran coast from Karachi to Gwadar. Predominantly sealed, long straights with coastal crosswinds. Open October to April; summer heat closes it effectively.

Sand tracks and compacted hardpan through Cholistan and Thar. Mixed sealed and off-road sections. Optimal window: November to February. Navigation support required.
